Things to Do on the Amalfi Coast & the surrounding Areas
Amalfi Coast is one of the most famous tourist places in Italy. It is one of the most scenic and beautiful places in all Italy. This picturesque area is located betweenenna and Siena in the Riviera Nacional. The Amalfi Coast has picturesque towns with a long historical background, some of them were very old and some of them still carry a modern touch. One of the most photographed places in this part of Italy is Amalfi Coast, as people come here just to take a picture of the coastline and its lovely orange and yellow lighthouses.
This picturesque town is home to various tourist attraction including Amalfi Coast Opera, Amalfi Coast Museum, Amalfi Coast & Beach Club, Piazza Castello, Amalfi Coast & surrounding towns. Most of the attractions are open year around, however, during summer months some attractions will be closed. This is especially true for the Piazza Castello. This is a big crowd drawer for tourists during summer, as it offers direct access to the beach and the Piazza di Modena.
The Piazza is also very beautiful and provides a great view of the sea, and its adjacent towns. This part of town is very popular among tourists, who like to stroll along the golden sandy beach. However, the best time to visit here is from April to October.
If you are looking for an even more historical experience, Locarno is the perfect place to visit. It is home to some very old churches, and there are many lovely buildings and ruins all around the coast area. Locarno is not a particularly tourist friendly town, and it can get quite busy at times. However, if you look around, you can avoid the crowds and still find some amazing scenery and peaceful surroundings. The beautiful beach area around the town is also really popular during summer months, when the entire area becomes red hot.

Due to its remote location, only few people venture into the Amalfi Coast & surrounding areas, which is strange considering the wonderful amount of activities, and scenery that is available. However, if you are brave, and adventurous, you can do some serious hiking, or even go deep sea fishing. There are also lots of great places to go swimming. Locarno also has an Old Church, dating back to the 13th century. It has been converted into a beautiful museum.
You’ll want to make the most out of your stay in Locarno, as this is a beautiful, picturesque, and truly exotic place to visit. There is a lot to do in this beautiful part of Italy, and you should definitely plan to spend every single moment of your trip here. But be sure to take your walking shoes. Because you won’t be walking anywhere for a while!
